Small Business Owners: Make Your Voice Heard!

That’s the goal behind Small Business Majority’s advocacy work. We’re dedicated to ensuring that lawmakers and the media hear from real small business owners on the issues that matter most to small businesses. That’s why we want you to become an official small business spokesperson.

What does it mean to be a small business spokesperson? For some small business owners, it might mean writing a letter to the editor. For others, it might mean testifying before Congress or state lawmakers. To help you become a small business spokesperson, we can:

  • Connect you with reporters to include your voice in news stories.
  • Facilitate meetings with local and national lawmakers so you can share your experiences as a small business owner.
  • Help you draft and place op-eds and letters to the editor on key small business issues in your local newspapers.
  • Feature you on Small Business Majority’s blog or social media pages.

These are just a few examples of our small business spokesperson opportunities. If you're interested in similar opportunities—or have other ideas about how you'd like to become a spokesperson—fill out our form below. We'll reach out to set up a time to speak and learn more about the small business issues you're most interested in.
