California Program on Access to Care's 54th Policy Briefing - Access to Coverage for Low Income Workers: Challenges under Health Reform
This event will describe efforts to expand health plan coverage for employees through Medi-Cal and through private insurance coverage-- primarily through the Covered California insurance exchange. The intent of this event is to provide an improved understanding of what has gone right and where new or strengthened efforts under the ACA are necessary to meet the needs of low income workers and their families and of the small businesses which primarily employ them.
