Join the Discovery Bay Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Majority for a workshop about small business advocacy and how Pittsburg's job creators can use their voices to impact local and statewide change. Learn about ways small business owners have partnered with Small Business Majority and other business groups to move the needle on important small business issues. 

Topics include:

  • Best practices when reaching out to policymakers and legislators
  • How to get engaged with the media
  • Tips on tying in your small business story/perspective 
  • Current issues to get involved with in 2017, including CA work-based learning and CA Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program
