What

Small Business Majority in partnership with DK Solutions, is celebrating National Women's Small Business Month.

Women are starting small businesses at a higher rate than men, and their businesses are generating jobs and business revenues above the national average. Supporting female entrepreneurs, especially women of color, has the potential to unlock tremendous growth for our communities. These businesses continue to be an immovable force in the community, using their voices to heal, educate, empower others and activate change.

Small Business Majority in partnership with DK Solutions will present BYOB: Be Your Own Boss, Roundtable Discussion for Small Business Women of Color to Dream, Sink & Launch Their Business. This roundtable discussion will educate current and aspiring women small business owners on issues to strengthen and clarify their small business goals.

The interactive discussion will include

  • Successful small business owners sharing to discuss how to overcome challenges in small business
  • Provide networking and peer mentoring connections
  • Participate in "Dream, Sink & Launch" presented by Kristy Jackson
  • Learn about access to capital, financial literacy and credit building
