Network Council Members Head to DC to Represent Small Business

On Sept. 12 and 13, 2012, Small Business Majority brought 14 small business owners from 11 states to Washington, DC to discuss what their biggest needs are as entrepreneurs and let legislators know how to help address them.

Attending meetings at the Capitol, the White House and other locations, network council members shared their entrepreneurial insight on issues like healthcare reform, clean energy, access to capital and taxes with officials such as Small Business Administration Deputy Administrator Marie Johns and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and members of Congress including Senator Mary Landrieu, Small Business and Entrepreneurship Chairwoman.
